We suggest the automatic yoke system to be more useful with faster moving beef cattle - whilst horned, or slower less reluctant animals (dairy) may be better suited to the manual yoke version.
The width is reduced by turning the operating wheel through a clutched/braked mechanism. The animal is securely held in place and cannot push the sides back out, only by turning the wheel yourself can the sides be released or closed tighter.
