Ovlac’s Minivid has been developed in cooperation with vineyard contractors who have put on the table the specific needs a machine must meet in their daily work. On that ground, Ovlac has designed a short disc harrow specifically conceived for vineyard bringing all its experience in extensive crops: tines made of HEL (High Elastic Limit) steel, 100% maintenance-free hubs with double conical bearing... The outcome is a solid, reliable and highly efficient piece of equipment.
The Minivid is offered in two versions:
Minivid Pro: conceived for contractors and professionals, it can be adapted to different alleys by hydraulically varying its working width. This adjustment is, in addition, independent for the front and rear rows.
Minivid: a more economic version with fix working width for a certain row spacing.
- 100% clogging-free: discs can work with no clogging problems in the toughest conditions.
- One pass with Ovlac’s Minivid leaves a perfectly leveled ground.
- Vines remain unaffected thanks to its side plates which stop soil projections.
- In addition, the vine foot remains clear as soil is turned towards the center of the line.
- Low running cost. The spenditure in wearing parts can be up to 4 times lower than in a traditional tine implement.
